Independent legal advice from the beginning, that is what Queer Base stands for. Prepared and not alone, every queer refugee should go into the interview at the asylum office. Encouraged and supported to speak for yourself is the goal of a 2.5 hour interview preparation for the asylum office. With 50 Euros you make this time possible.

Christmas package: “Fight for human rights!

Fighting for human rights sounds heroic, but often it is simply a matter of resources. Scouring the internet for current country reports on LGBTIQ human rights violations, gathering and sifting through evidence, drafting briefs and filing complaints. Anyway, writing a good complaint takes 4 hours. With 80 euros you finance this time.

Christmas package: “Independent, Partisan, Queer”.

Independent legal advice ends at the beginning of 2021, so we are working hard to expand our Legal Advice team. Partisan representation in court, specialized for queer refugees, is our goal. We don’t want to turn anyone away because we don’t have enough capacity. A preparation and hearing before the court takes about 7 hours. With 150 Euros you give this time as a gift.
