With the project „On the Tip of the Tongue – Es liegt mir auf der Zunge“ Queer Base wants to picture a multilingual and queer diversity in the city of Vienna in a series of workshops and videos. The OTTOTT videos bring us back to school to a common place of un-learning.
You Made Me So Cute!
„You made me so cute!“ Finding love for yourself is crucial! Sometimes it’s hard to love yourself, especially when your religion tells you, that you are wrong, a sinner, and an abomination. As LGBTIQ community we stand together with believers and non-believers and we find passages on the tip of the tongue to share words of appreciation and healing.

Living a Life of Queer Joy!
“Living a life of queer joy!” Being human is more than biology, DNA, or hormones. Reducing people to these aspects is a threat to those who don’t fit the narrative. Claiming some are more dangerous due to natural differences is bogus. We should welcome everyone to the table with anticipation and excitement.

“I am here to stay, I am here to slay, Darling!”
„I am here to stay, I am here to slay, Darling!“ Belonging is for everyone, be it in sports or language. People are being looked down on because of their chosen families, their chosen gender identities, or the contexts they stem from. The LGBTIQ community is transgressing the boxes of nationality, heritage, culture,… We come in any way, shape, or form, and we speak truth to the unity of humankind.

Make Them Afraid!
„Make them afraid!“ History teaches us that we have always existed! Lately it seems that people are surprised about the diversity and call it „new“ identity politics. These power games are not new, they are pitting different minorities against each other. Listen to what comes from the tips of our tongues: We remind you that the so called „normal“ is just another attempt to divide us. We will keep on blurring these lines of division!
